Meet the team
Kieron started his working life as a software engineer for the Ministry of Defence and quickly moved to a position as a full time Trade union official for 14 years. During the Yugoslavian civil war he worked on relief convoys to Bosnia and on his return he worked as an employment law advisor with Peninsula Business Services rising to Assistant Director of Consultancy. In 2010 he set up KHES Ltd offering a more bespoke human resource service to small business, which specialises in face to face mentoring and management support wrapped around the more traditional Human Resources.
Finance Administration and Recruitment
Barbara worked as a generalist adviser based at Bolton Citizens Advice Bureau during the 90s, before moving to work at the University of Bolton for 10 years. She retrained as a Careers Advisor, working with the students and staff and joined KHES five years ago as the business developed. If you are looking to recruit staff and place adverts, Barbara will be your main point of contact and will be responsible for sifting applications and drawing up shortlists. She is responsible for the smooth financial running of the business, including the invoicing of clients.
After college Cath joined the BHS management training scheme and during 12 years with them, she managed busy sales floor departments and was a project manager. She has run a mail order call centre with 300 call handlers and spent 10 years as the Divisional Human Resources Manager for Greater Manchester Police, looking after 2 divisions with 1000 police officers and 200 support sta. She then worked for Peninsula Business Services as an employment law adviser and since 2010 she has been working with KHES, helping our growing client base of small businesses and GP practices. She specialises in workplace restructuring.
Fiona started work as an Administration Assistant at Peninsula Business Services, staying for 12 years and gaining a large amount of experience in all aspects of Human Resources Management. She managed the stationary section, undertook work force planning and coordinated the team looking after special projects for high value clients. On leaving Peninsula she worked at a Prime Time Recruitment for 3.5 years, firstly as the executive assistant to 4 divisional Directors and the Managing Director, then as the administrator for a busy high street branch. Here she was involved in interviewing potential employees, running payroll for over 300 people and liaising with employers. She is now using her excellent organisational skills to help us maintain our client organisational structure.
